Uvac day tour from Belgrade
Canyon views and quiet nature
Choose an Uvac day tour if you want dramatic landscapes, clean mountain air and one of the most memorable viewpoints in Serbia. From Belgrade, the route goes toward southwest Serbia, where the Uvac River cuts through limestone cliffs and creates famous meanders.
Your guide keeps the day clear and comfortable, with time for photos, short walks and local stories. As the scenery changes from open roads to mountain valleys, the journey becomes part of the experience. Because the area feels peaceful and wide, this route suits guests who enjoy photography, wildlife and quiet places.
Uvac day tour with boat ride and vultures
The main highlight of the Uvac day tour is the protected nature reserve. Depending on weather and local conditions, the visit can include a boat ride through the canyon, views over the river bends and a stop near the Ice Cave. Also, the area is one of the most important habitats of the griffon vulture in Serbia.
These large birds are a symbol of Uvac. When they circle above the cliffs, the landscape feels wild, open and very different from Belgrade. For broader nature information about Serbia, you can also visit the official Serbia travel website.
Private tour for nature lovers
This Uvac day tour works well for couples, families, photographers and small private groups. You should bring comfortable shoes, water and a light jacket, because mountain weather can change during the day.
Although the tour is long, the reward is clear: canyon views, fresh air, local landscapes and one of Serbia’s most distinctive natural places. If you want to compare this route with other private nature trips, see our Serbia tours.
After free time and the planned visits, we return to Belgrade. Finally, the day ends with the feeling that you have seen a quieter and more powerful side of Serbia.

The Icy cave is 2500 meters long and it has been known for a long time but no one supposed that along with Uvac cave, which stretches parallel on the distance of some 100 meters, creates a unique cave system – the longest one in Serbia – 6185 meters.

Belgrade
After the tour, you will have short brake for individual activities and after it we continue our trip back to Belgrade with one short stop.
