Visit Novi Sad on a tour from Belgrade

Visit Novi Sad and Petrovaradin Fortress

Visit Novi Sad on a relaxed tour from Belgrade and travel north to Vojvodina, one of the most charming regions of Serbia. Novi Sad sits on the Danube, about 80 km from Belgrade. The city blends Central European architecture, river views, a calm local rhythm and a rich cultural story.

First, your guide takes you to Petrovaradin Fortress, the best-known landmark in Novi Sad. From the fortress, you can enjoy wide views over the Danube and the city. Then you walk through the historic center, see elegant streets and squares, and learn why Novi Sad became one of Serbia’s most visited cities.

Sremski Karlovci and Fruska Gora wine route

The tour also includes Sremski Karlovci, a small baroque town near Fruska Gora. The town played an important role in Serbian history and culture. You will see the first Serbian Gymnasium, the Orthodox Cathedral, the Four Lions Fountain and local wine cellars.

Sremski Karlovci and Fruska Gora have a long wine tradition. Local families still make Bermet, an aromatic dessert wine with herbs and a strong regional character. During the tour, you can taste local wines and hear the stories behind this famous Vojvodina wine route.

Easy Novi Sad day trip from Belgrade

Also, this Novi Sad tour gives you time to slow down. You can enjoy the main square, quiet side streets and the easy pace of the city. For more local destination details, you can also check the official Novi Sad tourism site.

You will have free time for coffee, lunch or a short personal walk. Because the route stays clear and comfortable, the tour suits couples, families, small groups and travelers visiting Serbia for the first time.
